Applying To NJMS - MD Program
All applicants must first complete and submit an online application through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) by December 1st. Once applications are verified, AMCAS will distribute your application to designated medical schools June through December.
NJMS Application Requirements:
- AMCAS application www.amcas.org/amcas
- MCAT (www.aamc.org/MCAT) or indication of scheduled test date within the same calendar year
- Letters of Recommendation
- Secondary Application and fee or AMCAS (FAP) waiver
Secondary Application
Once the AMCAS application is received, all applicants are then sent information with a link to the Secondary Application. Applicants are required to submit this completed application along with the $85 fee (or indicate a waiver if approved by AMCAS) as early as possible but no later than December 15 in order for your application to be reviewed by the screening committee.
All completed applications remain under active consideration for an interview until the beginning of March. By mid-March, all applicants receive either an invitation to interview or a letter of regret.
