NJMS - Admissions

Articulated Programs

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

This program was implemented to encourage the integration of the basic medical science courses and advanced natural science courses in order to prepare students for the clinical portion of their professional education. Selected students are able to obtain the BS/MD degree in seven years. Completion in eight years is also possible.

Requirements


Applicants must have displayed academic excellence, including a minimum GPA of 3.5 or better per semester, be in their third term and have completed at least 30 credits at Rutgers University. The MCAT is required prior to matriculation. Admission is limited to citizens or permanent residents of the United States.

Saint Peter's College

Requirements

Students are required to follow an accelerated major program and are required to maintain a minimum semester and commutative grade point average of 3.5 in all course work and a minimum grade of B+ in each of the science courses required for admissions to NJMS.

The application process is initiated through St. Peters College.
