Alumni
Welcome
from the President
I
need your help, advice and most importantly your presence!
My
first goal as President of your Alumni Association is to entice you to come
back to the campus, to visit, talk with our students and renew your contact
with the faculty and staff. I am in the process of trying to arrange for free
parking in one of the decks; an Alumni name tag that will admit you to the Medical
School, hospital and library; and an expedited system to obtain hospital privileges
that will enable you to make rounds and provide students with your clinical
experience.
In
the modern era, we have the advantage of the internet and cell phones that are,
in actuality, small computers we carry in our pockets. As any of us over 50
years of age will note, the adaptation to these modern communication tools has
been at best a challenge, initially overwhelming, but now a necessity. You can
determine your "status" by whether you still have a home phone attached to the
wall! The Alumni Association wants to take advantage of these communication
tools by working with you and keeping our web site up-to-date. We will keep
you informed of breaking news and current research at your School, including
announcements, notes, observations, upcoming events, and alumni publications
that you share with us.
See
you on the internet! ( http://njms.umdnj.edu/alumni/president.cfm
