Volunteer Opportunities
Admissions Volunteer - Work with the Admissions
Office and Alumni Office to create ties to New Jersey Medical School with accepted
students and their families.
Annual Fund Committee - Encourage alumni support
of the Annual Fund.
Career Network Volunteer - Attend Career Night
and share educational and professional insights with students.
Class Correspondent - Gather information and
correspondence from class members for the AlumniFocus section of Pulse Magazine.
Class Representative – Act as a liaison
between the Alumni Association, the Alumni Board and classmates. Help to maintain
alumni ties and participation by encouraging event attendance.
Guest Lecturer - Volunteer as a guest lecturer
to share knowledge with New Jersey Medical School students during appropriate
lectures.
Alumni Gathering Host - Work with the Alumni
Office to host a reception for fellow classmates or alumni in your area at a
restaurant or your home.
Regional Representative - Help create, maintain
and strengthen alumni ties to NJMS in your area.
Reunion Committee - Help plan and implement
reunion activities and with the Alumni Office and encourage attendance.
Early Specialty Program (ESP) Volunteer - Sponsor
a student intern for a few weeks during the summer months.
Note: Many of these opportunities
are available for both in and out-of-state residents.
