Letter to Applicants

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in our Neurology Training Program. We offer a four year program incorporating a PGY-1 level year of medical internship provided through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and a three year program in Neurology. Both programs require participation in the Neurology Matching Program (NEMP).

The following documentation is required to complete your application:

• UMDNJ application form
• Curriculum Vitae accounting for all time since beginning higher education
• Copies of USMLE scores
• Copy of ECFMG certificate (graduates of foreign medical schools only)
• Medical school transcript
• Three letters of recommendation, including a "Dean's Letter" if possible

We participate in the Central Application Service of the San Francisco match and encourage you to submit your application through the CAS.

We suggest that this material be returned promptly so that you may be considered for a personal interview by the Department of Neurosciences. You will be notified if you are selected for such an interview.

If you wish confirmation that we have received your application, please include a self-addressed, stamped postcard.
