NEWARK  
The Newark metropolitan area offers virtually unlimited cultural, recreational and educational opportunities. This active business and industrial center has a population of more than 350,000. It continues to address inner city health care issues through a large-scale renaissance effort. Newark has exciting ethnic enclaves, vast open park lands, and two large educational complexes composed of several adjacent universities and schools of higher education. A new Performing Arts Center brings world-class cultural events within a mile of the hopital. Newark is surrounded by smaller urban, suburban and rural communities with a varied selection of housing arrangements ranging from city apartments to country farm houses.

NEW BRUNSWICK
The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital are located in New Brunswick , which is approximately twenty-five miles south of Newark . The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is located in nearby Piscataway . With a population near 40,000, New Brunswick 's small-town atmosphere is complemented by exceptional cultural activities, many of which are held in conjunction with Rutgers University . The New Brunswick Cultural Center includes the restored 1,800-seat State Theatre, the renown George Street Playhouse, The American Repertory Ballet, The New Jersey Designer Craftsmen, and Crossroads Theatre Company, which is the premier black theater group. The city also hosts the Princeton Ballet and the Nicholas Music Center .
