Mission

The mission of the Department includes teaching, research, clinical care and service to the institution, local environment, state and country. Our mission includes teaching Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health to medical students, residents, physicians and other interested members of the community. Our role is to advance knowledge in the field of clinical medicine as well as the basic science of pregnancy and reproduction through research. We provide clinical care to our local community and consultative care in our subspecialties to the State. We also provide leadership in our field, both locally and nationally.
