Patients treated at UMDNJ-University Hospital for conditions related to cardiology, orthopedics and urology receive some of the best care in the nation as measured by the likelihood that they will survive their illnesses, according to newly released rankings. The data, from the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), place the hospital among the top 10 academic medical centers in the nation in each of these areas. UHC is an association of 106 academic medical centers in the U.S. and assists hospitals with enhancing their quality improvement methods. Read more in "Medical Matters"
