Resident Applicant Information

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery participates in the National Resident Matching Program. The UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency program is approved to accept 2 residents per year. The preliminary internship year is guaranteed with acceptance into the residency program.

The application process begins with the submission of an electronic application form ( ERAS ).  Applications are carefully reviewed by faculty members, and selected applicants are invited for interviews. Only electronic applications will be accepted for review.  The application deadline is October 1, 2012.

Interviews for the March 2012 match will be held in November and December. Applicants selected for interview will be contacted by email approximately 4 weeks prior to the interview date. Further details will be provided at that time.
