Dermatopathology Fellowship
The
Dermatopathology Fellowship program at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School is
an ACGME-approved fellowship that includes a year of dermatopathology with concurrent
training in clinical dermatology and anatomic pathology, and an optional second
year. Each fellow is exposed to a wide variety of dermatological diseases.
The Dermatopathology Fellowship emphasizes interaction between dermatology and
pathology. Major emphasis is placed on inflammatory disease, cutaneous tumors,
lymphoma, pigmented lesions, laboratory procedures, immunopathology, and molecular
diagnostic techniques. In addition, Dr.

consultation cases from around the world. Research projects, teaching, publications,
as well as local and national presentations are highly encouraged.
Candidates for fellowship should be board-eligible or board-certified by either the American Board of Pathology or the American Board of Dermatology.
