Facilities
Individual research laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
to support the diverse research projects carried out in the department. The
department also contains several shared core
imaging facilities to support molecular biological, cellular, imaging, analytical
techniques and tissue culture. In addition, the university has core facilities
for molecular biology, mass spectroscopy, genomics, bioinformatics and advanced
imaging. Some of the resourses available are cell
& molecular core facilites, molecular
resource facility , center for advanced
proteomics research , as well as, the transgenic
mouse facility.
