Tamas Balla is the Head of the Section on Molecular Signal Transduction in the Endocrine

and Reproduction Research Branch at the National Institute of Child Health and Human

Development at the NIH in Bethesda MD. Dr. Balla's laboratory is working on the

Sylvia Christakos is a professor at the Department of Biochemistry at UMDNJ -

New Jersey Medical School. She studies the mechanism by which vitamin D

regulates calcium homeostasis. We have collaborative projects on the regulation

Diomedes E. Logothetis is a Professor and Chair at the Department of Physiology and

Biophysics at the Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond VA. His laboratory
