About the Certificate Programs
Application for these programs are available through the campus office.
Certificate programs are intended for post-baccalaureate students interested in entering the public health field and for returning public health graduates who wish to enhance their knowledge. These programs will allow for specialization in a very particular aspect of public health such as: oral public health, clinical epidemiology, environmental health or general public health. Accepted students will be required to provide immunization information as stipulated under university policy. Full-time students require health insurance. Student Visa's (F-1) will not be issued for certificate participation.
Students seeking the certificate program must complete a minimum of 15 credits of academic work with an average grade of "B" or better. The coursework is distributed as follows for the certifcate in general public health. Additional certificate programs are being created and reviewed. Due to printing timelines for this bulletin, all pertinent information was not available. Please consult your campus office for additional publications on our certificate programs.
