The Biostatistics Laboratory, located within the Department of Preventive Medicine & Community Health, New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) provides a home for biostatisticians located within NJMS. It provides services to biomedical and laboratory researchers located primarily at the New Jersey Medical School, but also within other UMDNJ schools and generally within the Northern New Jersey area. Our biostatistical expertise includes the design of experiments, epidemiologic studies, and clinical trials, as well as categorical data analysis, longitudinal methods, survival analysis, meta analysis and other applications of statistics in medicine, biological sciences and public health. Expertise is also available in the area of data management and spatial analysis (GPS, GIS based data). We can also provide instruction in the use of statistical software, including SAS, SPSS, EpiInfo, Stata and R.
