We strive to offer a suite of courses at New Jersey Medical School that present a systematic and coherent overview of the scientific and clinical aspects of public health. We work to equip students with the biostatistical and epidemiological methods necessary to read and assess evidence for therapies and preventive strategies in medicine. We also present examples of clinical applications of research on nutrition and on the prevention of disease, and offer optional electives permitting further exploration of these topics.
