2013 Radiology Hot Seat Review Course

Dear Participant:

Registration for the 2013 hot seat review course has begun. If you wish to register please fill out the registration form and mail it to the address at the top of the form with a $100 check or money order made payable to UPA - Radiology. Receipt of the first 326 registration forms and deposit payments will ensure that your spot is held.

• When did the 2013 registration begin? May 16, 2012
• How many spots are available? 110 per course/330 total
• What is the total price of the course? $2075 ($100 registration +$1975 balance)
• Does that include hotel? No
• Are meals provided? Yes, there will be a continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and PM snack everyday w kosher and vegeterian selections
• When is the final payment due? November 1, 2012
• Who should the balance check of $1,975 be made payable to? UPA - Radiology

• Are spots held without a payment? No
• Are credit card payments accepted? No
• Will I receive an advanced copy of my course schedule? No, your schedule will be given to you at orientation. Please prepare for all sections.
• Is there a syllabus? No, but you will receive handouts for certain sections at orientation.

On behalf of the 18 residents and 42 faculty members in the Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School, I am happy to acknowledge your interest in our program. Frequently asked questions (FAQ):

• Do you accept foreign medical students? Yes
• Does your program have other requirements?  Yes - every applicant must complete a transitional year or preliminary year in medicine, surgery, or pediatrics before entering radiology.
• What visas do you accept?  We only accept J1 visas.
• Do you have specific criteria for our program?  You must pass USMLE Step I and II before entering our program.
• Are there any available 2012 positions? All 5 positions are filled.
• When are applications for 2013 being accepted?  September 1st 2012
• As of February 1, 2012 our application process is closed.
