Welcome to the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and
Neck Surgery at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey / New
Jersey Medical School. This website provides information and links for patients,
students and physicians in training, and practicing physicians.
These are exciting times at UMDNJ
/ NJMS. Our campus continues to expand, with the recent completion of the Ambulatory
Care Center and Cancer Center. This adds to our clinical and research programs
both at the University Hospital and New Jersey Medical School.
The field of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery encompasses the care of
patients with a broad range of problems, conditions, and diseases. Our specialty
is commonly referred to as "Ear, Nose and Throat" although our practice
encompasses much more. We are dedicated to the care of patients with problems
involving the ears, nose and sinuses, mouth, throat and voice box, as well as
the neck and skin. Such problems include the full range of congenital, inflammatory,
and infectious disease, as well as benign and malignant tumors.
Patients are invited to explore our website to learn more about the Division
of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, our hospital, and our physicians
and programs. We also offer information about a number of diseases that we commonly
treat, and convenient links to relevant websites.
Students and candidates for residency positions are invited to explore and
learn more about our medical student clerkships and residency programs.
