Trauma
The New Jersey Trauma Center at University Hospital admits more than 2,000 patients annually. Our surgical residents participate in the care of all trauma patients from initial resuscitation through discharge, including management of critically ill patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
This section also offers a one year clinical/research fellowship in trauma/critical care following completion of an approved General Surgery residency.
