Student Affairs: Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®)
ERAS® is the Electronic Residency Application Service sponsored by the
Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). It is most commonly used by
medical graduates or medical students in their final year of medical college
to apply for specialized graduate training in residency programs in the United
States. Based in the Office of Student Affairs, the service electronically transmits
residency applications, letters of recommendation, Dean's Letters/MSPE, transcripts
and other supporting credentials from applicants and medical schools to residency
programs.
