Interest Group Has the Right Touch

Jersey Medical School, the City of Newark and HOT 97 radio joined together
to encourage teens to stay in school during a live radio broadcast of
the HOT 97 show "Street Soldiers" on Sunday, November 12. Close
to 300 invited teens from the city of Newark participated in the live

Dorian Wilson Featured on NBC Today Show
Transplantation and trauma surgeon Dorian Wilson, MD, Associate Professor
of Surgery, was featured on NBC's Today show on Sunday, November 12. This
nationally broadcast segment focused on the need for increased organ donation
among minorities, particularly African Americans. According to the United
Network for Organ Sharing, in 2005 just 15 percent of all donors were
African American . Dr. Wilson
speaks often to community groups about organ donation and this past Sunday,
he appeared at a local church as part of the National Donor Sabbath.....
