CAPR instruments reservation instructions

1. Please reserve the instrument time slots in advance, generally, one week before the experimental date to avoid potential schedule conflict.
2. The minimum reservation time is 30 minutes. Maximum reservation time is 8 hours.
3. Please make sure that you have reserved enough time for your experiments.
4. Please do not reserve more time than you need. You will be billed for all the time that your have reserved.
5. Only Mondays or Tuesdays are open for reservation for Applied Biosystem 4700 TOF-TOF Analyzer and Waters Q-TOF . Please contact CAPR (973-972-5340) if you have urgent projects that require the instruments on other days.
6. Please fill in your P.I.'s name, your name, your email address, and lab phone number during the reservation. An email with confirmation number will be sent to you upon successful reservation.
7. You will be able to cancel your reservation two days prior to the dates that you reserved. The system will ask you to input the original confirmation number sent to you by email. After this "grace period", you will not able to cancel the reservation and your account will be billed for the reserved instrument time.
8. In case of emergency instrumental maintenance that might affect your scheduled instrumental usage, CAPR will inform you in advance by email and reschedule at your earliest convenience.
