High School Student Interns
The Newark Campus hosts a number of excellent high school intern research exposure programs, as well as provides opportunities for students to intern with individual faculty at the NJMS.
High School Students that are interested in an intern position at UMDNJ-NJMS should contact the Program Directors listed below. The procedures and policies described here must be followed to ensure that all minors receive appropriate instruction and supervision, have parental consent for their activites in an NJMS research laboratory, and that all activities are in compliance with New Jersey Child Labor regulations. Eligibility:
- Students must be at least sixteen years of age.
- Must have a commitment from a UMDNJ-NJMS Facuty Member (as host)
- Must complete the UMDNJ-NJMS required consent forms.
Intern positions are independenlty arranged by students. A directory of UMDNJ-NJMS faculty can be found on the NJMS website, or you may contact the programs listed below to determine eligibility.

3. High School Parental Consent & Insurance Documentation
